  10. WARNING: D-10 instruments with ROM
  11. software versions less than 1.05
  12. have MIDI SysX bugs and will not
  13. work properly in many instances.

  15. To obtain the ROM version hold down
  16. the DATA TRANSFER and EDIT buttons
  17. and turn on the instrument.
  18.  
  19. To replace ROMs, contact ROLAND or
  20. your local dealer
  21.  
  22. If the Rhythm Patterns will not load from
  23. your D-10, please follow these
  24. instructions:
  25.  
  26. 1. Choose "Utilities/Driver Creator Window"
  27. 2. When the window opens, right click to 
  28.     display the popup menu
  29. 3. Choose "Load Driver from Disk"
  30. 4. Use the file selector to go into the 
  31.     D-10 directory and choose Rhythm.Pat
  32. 5. settings will fill in on the Driver Creator
  33.     window
  34. 6. In the bottom right, check "Roland 
  35.     Handshake"
  36. 7. Choose "File/Save" from the menus.
  37. 8. Quit the program, run the program
  38. 9. Try the dump
  39. 10. that should do it.
